When your friend tells you that you're going to have to get your kid to take medicine or it'll never get easier, and it sucks to have to force her but you have to do it, and if you hit a certain part of her check she has no choice but to swallow.
Like okay girl, thanks. But that's not the point. It's not the medication anyway that's the issue. The kid takes nothing but my breast because she has a texture issue. So yeah, I can force her to swallow the medicine, but I can't stop her gagging and spitting it all back up.
I'm just easily irked by people I guess.

Lean her back and blow in her mouth. I had to mix my milk with all of my sons medicine. It took so much longer to give him bc i would put a tiny bit 1ml of medicine and 9ml of breast milk and do that over and over until he took it all. It's a struggle but #momlife

@majorreign She won't take milk unless it's from my breast, and she instantly gags when she swallows so. 🤷♀️

Have you tried maybe feeding and putting syringe in the side of her mouth while shes nursing. Sounds crazy but I've done it.

@kayla187 Yeah, I did that. My only fear is her rejecting me and not wanting to nurse because she now associates that with me. I am able to do it a couple times that way but when she catches on, she doesn't want to nurse anymore.
