Luke is home and has been surrounded constantly by people coming to pray with him and love on him. The little blondie is his brother, Isaiah, he has the disease as well but is younger so it hasn't gotten as bad for him, though he is headed there. Luke has been being able to rest and has not been alone or lacking in support since he got home. They are trying to make sure he stays as comfortable as possible so he can go in peace when he is ready. Again, the family has asked to extend thank yous to everyone who has kept him in their thoughts or prayers.

It is, watching them grow up has been a rollercoaster for everyone. They have a sister right in between them, she isn't affected by it but she carries the gene, meaning if she had a baby with someone else who carried it there is a 25% chance of her having one like them. It's an awful awful situation.

Omg this is so heartbreaking! I can’t even imagine any child or mother having to deal with is. Does the mom carry the disease? I just couldn’t imagine having children and knowing I could pass it on to them I would rather have no children than to see my poor babies suffer😫God Bless those poor babies❤️Keeping them in my prayers and I pray they don’t continue to live with pain.

@melissaredfield87 for the kids to be affected both parents have to carry the gene. I'm not sure if you read any previous comments but they had a much higher chance of it happening since their parents share genetics. Neither of the parents knew they carried the gene because no one else had ever had a case for them to even think of getting checked for it. Thank you for the prayers, the family and the boys do appreciate it (even though they can't talk their facial expressions still show because their brains work normal it's just everything else)

@fitmomma93 No, the whole family knows (well I'm not sure if their kids know). Their family was all together growing up. She keeps it a secret from the outside world. I don't know if she has told anyone else after I vented to my mom and she found out that she knew now or anything but she never told anyone.
