If I am understanding this correctly, you can't get upset with things you assume will happen. Co-parenting sometimes involves spending time as a whole. Especially when he is in another relationship. You should respect those boundaries.

I don't see how any woman could allow a man to disown his child. If you want a man to disown one for the other, you need to reevaluate your life. That's just sad to even attempt to do.

could be! although idk the situation, if she's dead set on not being a family again, and he knows he fucked up, it shouldn't be a lead on. i used to have to visit with my mom when i was younger, but that doesn't mean she deserved to have me, and when i was smiling it didn't mean i was happy, when i joked with her it didn't mean our relationship was getting better, we just told a joke, if that makes sense. i forgive but don't forget. also i would not interfere with that mans life or children, if we are living our own separate lives we have our own seperate business, and if i want nothing to do with him and no hope, idgaf about his other life, i'll just make sure he handles OUR baby.

@anewthing2018 I like this comment too. Whats meant to be will be. The father didn't have too much of the child as a baby but once she got older and talking he tries to spend as much time as possible. But if Mom is upset she makes sure he is too by holding the child from him or causing unnecessary drama. Overall he is trying to be a good dad but also trying to keep the peace but what she does effects his relationship for the same reasons you ladies are commenting.

But even before I had my own my views on this type of behavior has not changed. Why make the children suffer due to your emotions about the situation. Unless the child is put in harm's way just let it be and move on

That's not a lead on at all. That's a mature, adult relationship, and a mature response to their circumstances. That's how coparenting should work, there is respect and compromise and actual working together. If she sees it as a lead on, then she is looking for something that she wants to be there. The man is just doing his job as a father and only wants his children to be happy. She can hope all she wants, as long as she doesn't get delusional, smh. I don't see how it can be a lead on.

And as for disowning his new child... is she missing a piece of her brain? Let that man be, and let him love and take care of his kids.
