So I went to the doctor today she said they normally start cervical checks at 35 weeks. I have contractions alllll the time even on the shots and drinking water and all that so she said they will start checking me at my next appointment until I deliver ill be 31 weeks. She also said they don't try and check because that can start labor. I was like okayyyy like should I be worried about being checked so early then??

Mine starts cervical checks at 30 weeks and I didn't go into labor until 40w2d with my daughter and was induced at 40w4d with my son.
Most doctors check at 37 weeks but if you’re 36 weeks and your having issues and you want them to check they do.. just all depends on you’re doctor, Monday I’m asking my doctor to check me cause the pressure I’ve been having but I nervous cause I know u start feeling it more once checked
Yeah my OB doesn't do checks until full term (39 weeks). I still haven't been checked but once at 35 weeks when I went to L&D thinking I had a gallbladder problem (upper right abdomen was in so much pain) but found out it was just contractions and babies location. Lol when they checked then it was thick and 0 dilation thankfully but nothing since. :) I'm hoping to carry to 39.5 or more. :)
