I would get my car taken away, and my phone so I couldn’t leave or call 911. Than 2days later I would get a pathetic apology that I would actually believe. One day I got fed up with it and saved up enough money to leave while he was at work. I left and never looked back. I met my current husband and married him. He is the complete opposite and has never put his hands on me or even yelled at me. We disagree but it never turns into name calling. He helps around the house without me even asking him. He apologizes for disagreeing with me. Kinda silly because I feel like he is entitled to his own opinion and should not apologize for not seeing it my way when there was no screaming and it was just a simple debate. But he is a sweetheart like that. So to all the women out there going thru this, there is hope. WALK AWAY! You will meet someone better, you will fall in love again. There is a healthier relationship for you out there. One you will never know of until you walk away from that toxic relationship.

Amazing. I am so glad you had that courage. It took me losing my first son and almost my second to walk away. Best thing I ever did. And I feel so dumb for not doing it sooner. Because I should have. It’s the biggest regret I’ll ever have. I’m glad you’ve found someone who treats you like you deserve. It gives me hope. ❤️ Thank you for sharing your experience. @sboolay,

Yes, it’s definitely not that easy to walk away especially when children 👶 are involved but glad we all was able to walk away from it. 😊
