Welp 1st day and night without her binki and so far so good even though it’s still early . She cried for about 20 mins I felt horrible but I let her cry it out with her favorite blanket and teddy bear and she’s now knocked out . Hopefully if she “correction” well when she wakes in the middle of the night looking for it cause I know she will she won’t cry long . But all in all so far so good 🙂 but I can’t wait till tomorrow comes cause she deff don’t really care about it during the day when she’s up and moving

The earlier the better! Me and my boufriend got into a bit of a debate because i told him when the baby is here he/she can have the binki for 4 or 5 monhs then no binki, he said no 2 years. Im kinda against the whole binki thing idk why i just feel like my baby will comunicate and stuff better the earlier i take it away. But idk things might change later

@hottmamma, I don’t think it has anything to do with communication at least in my experience because my son never used a binki and my daughter obviously is 1 and I’m weaning her now . But she’s not moving at no pace slower than what my son did . She’s not talking talking of course but I think her speech so far for the words she does say is clearer than what my sons was because people had a hard time understanding and when she says the words she does no it’s clear as day . So to me or at least for me it depends on the child . But I agree with you on letting baby have it only for the 1st few months cause then it’s easier to wean like you would have to for the bottle I’d do it at the same time my kids came off the bottle at 4 months when they could hold a sippy cup so that’s when I should have gotten my princess off the binki too. So for this princess when she starts the sippy cup there will be no more binki for her .

@prestonjeanetta0120 yea i mean idk, how things will end up im expecting my first. all i know is i dont want baby to have it for too long. I think i feel some type a way cuz i always saw my mom with babies like coisins, and my neice, and sister and she would snatch the bink out of the mouth and say give me that thing! you dont need that thing! Lol
