Currently trying to get my son to sleep unswaddled. It's been a long day and I'm feeling defeated. I feel like just going ahead and swaddling him back up...hes so tired he falls asleep for a few seconds (not even a full 20 seconds) but then just wakes right back up to cry. 😞

@leonardsquared he started breaking out of the swaddle when he was a few months old. We had to figure out a new way to swaddle him and keep him in. Since he was on oxygen and stuff we had to keep him swaddled because he would grab his tubing and pull on it. Hes off oxygen now at almost 9mo and down to one monitor but the other day he started trying to roll over onto his stomach while swaddled. Luckily I cought him doing it watching the baby monitor, but I'd hate for him to do that and not be able to get back over.

Why do you need him to sleep not swaddled? There's not like a certain age that they need to be out of one or anything. I mean, if he's sleeping just fine and is content being swaddled then just leave him be. I PROMISE, some time in the near future he'll get sick of it on his own and start breaking free of it. I'd say if he's not trying to get out or acting like he's uncomfortable, let the boy be swaddled. No sense in keeping you both up all night when there's a simple solution.
