Going to fully start to take my daughter off her binki today I’m tired of seeing her walk around…

Good luck! Just keep reminding her she’s a big girl and doesn’t need it, and let her find comfort in something else like a blanket or even a movie she can rewatch over and over and over😂

@valerie_jean, that’s the thing she has her binki she has her a little blanket she likes to hold while she suck on her binki and she has her favorite stuff animal that’s her baby that she carries around alll day and sleeps with . She can deal without it during the day but naps and bed time she has to have that animal and that’s fine and she has to have her binki . Hopefully after a few days she’ll be fine without it

I threw all my daughter pacifier away soon as she turned 1 and she didn’t even realize they were gone

@melissaortega1995, mines well deff notice she uses them to fall asleep and if she drops it and can’t find it she’ll start crying . So I’m sure the 1st few nights and naps will be rough but she still has her favorite stuff animal she also have to have to sleep with so hopefully it won’t be so bad

Yeah she will be fine best thing to do is throw them all away and don’t buy her no more and if she’s still on a bottle take her off a bottle and start her on a cup my daughter got the pacifier and bottle taken away when she turned 1

@melissaortega1995, she’s been off the bottle since she turned 4 months and was able to hold a sippy cup . I hope she manages fine we’ll see 🤞🏾

At 13 months I took my daughters binki away. I was scared bc I didn't think she & I could do it. The first day was tough, she cried for about an hour before falling asleep that night. Then after that she cried less & less. I'm so proud of her. She's 14 months now (no binki & no bottle anymore 😁)

@mommy.2girls, that awesome I should of took her binki when I took her off of bottles at 4 months then we’d be good now lol .

@mommy.2girls, yea I know she’s been fine all day she hasn’t even looked for it . But I know when it’s bed time she’s going to freak out even though she has her favorite stuff animal and her blanket she holds on to
