What do y’all think about the people who tell pregnant ladies not to complain while pregnant? That they are being ungrateful for the gift in their belly... I personally say complain away lol bc pregnancy is hard therapist will even say it’s traumatic! But I can also understand from a long time ttc woman’s point of view of it being hurtful.

I think we are not in charge of telling ppl what to do except for the children under our care. People will always find something to be offended about but people are free to complain.

I will agree that pregnancy is a beautiful thing, creating new life and all. But it’s really tough to and takes a toll on our bodies. We are allowed to complain if we want to.

On one hand, I've been pregnant and not all days are sunshine and daisies. For me, it has more to do with the hormones in my system than being ungrateful. I'd love to cherish every day, but when my brain chemicals are making me sob at everything...I'm a little inclined to complain.
On the other hand, my first pregnancy ended in a MC. I had a "friend" at the time who was also pregnant, but single, had had 2 abortions and didnt want to have another so she decided to give her baby up for adoption. So for WEEKS after I miscarried she was always complaining about being pregnant and joking that we could take her baby. It made me want to scream.
