@shanz, yes Hun no matter how you feed it’s good for them! Fed is best 😊 ask your midwife for information on feeding types ect xx

You shouldn't introduce bottles/formula the first 6 weeks :) supply needs to be established and it can cause confusion :) After 6 weeks you could do formula or breast milk. But if you are doing formula once in awhile..you need to pump so that your supply doesn't drop :) So when baby has a bottle of formula...they aren't feeding from you so you will need to make up for that missed feed from you by pumping :) overall I just think it's easier to just breast feed with no formula or bottle introduction. But it's up to you :)

@courtniek98x Yeah just annoys me when some people say breast is better and that crap😑as long as they eat they still get the same nutrients they need.And I will do hun,thanks😊xx

@shanz Breast milk is more than just nutrients though..theres stuff you get in breast milk you can't get in formula :) But yeah as long as they are fed doesn't matter :) xx

I’m going to breastfeed and also express so my partner can bottle feed to bond and give me a break from feeling like a cow 🐮

@shanz @elletaylor Yeah :) reason you shouldn't bottle feed before 6 weeks is because they can get nipple confusion and it can effect the latch...xx

@mrsmowmow, hi. Had same problem with my youngest she didn’t want to take bottle at all after bf and the I warmed milk in the bottle up to match body temperature and she started to take it. As I was explained later breastmilk is very warm ( our body temperature) and they are getting used of it , so that could be the reason they don’t want to take bottle after few weeks of bf.
