What does the beginning stages of labor feel like? I've never gone into "normal" labor. My first two…

They feel almost like period cramps... Usually in your pelvic area. There won't necessarily be pain on your stomach it'll feel like you're getting your period and as more time goes by it feels like you're having painful menstrual cramps. The cramping can last a second or two at first and then the cramping will last longer... so you'll feel a cramp / contraction and it can last seconds to 1-2 minutes long. The cramping might even make you feel like you want to use the bathroom and you might even have a bowel movement. Then the cramping starts coming a little more often and that's when they say to start counting how many minutes go by in between each cramp/contraction. I hope you are feeling okay, I see you're only 35 weeks...

@oceanhalo thank you. I'm actually 36 weeks today. I dk why the app is a week behind. I think I am in the beginning stages of labor. I have my csection schedule for next week bc of cholestasis and the past problems iv had.

My first was still born at 33 weeks and my second was 9 weeks early but she made it. Both due to placental abruption. Then I had the perfect pregnancy last time. This time it's different but I'm starting to feel like I need to poop. Sorry TMI! I just got my bags ready. I think he'll be here this weekend! Which is dh and I first wedding anniversary and our 6 year anniversary of being a couple!

Maybe he wants to celebrate your anniversary with you! 😊💜 If you gotta poop, go pooooop! 😂 Better now at home and take your time! Hopefully you progress slow but steady if he truly is on his way! Sending strength and stamina your way 💜 Try to lay down and rest (maybe even nap) you will know soon based on how intense your contractions get.

I always feel sick like the flu, can't sleep, jittery, loose bowels and I always throw up. Sorry if it's TMI but happens every time. Oh and the contractions brought me to my knees. I got very few light contractions. They were bringing me to my knees within 8 hrs of her checking me.

@mhbb3 thank you! I'm pretty sure it's early labor. Today it's stronger than before. I'm waiting for them to get closer before heading in. But I'm sure this weekend he will be here! I have a tight wrapping feeling every 25-30 minutes from my pelvis area to my back and they last about 30 second to a minute long.
