Y'all I'm at a loss. 😔 When I first left my ex last year, I moved in with my grandma while I tried to find a job so I could get my own place for me and my daughter. Well after nine months of just babysitting for my sister and aunt, my grandma's neighbor decided to move out and my aunt left the job she was at for a different one. I got the job and the apartment at once and was so excited. Well when I got the job and apartment, my 13y sister moved in with me. At the time it was perfect because she would watch Isabelle while I was at work. Fast forward to now and I had enough of my sister and she moved back in with our mother. Now I have no one but my grandma to watch Isabelle and she works at the same job as me. I don't want my grandma to be stuck watching her on her days off all the time. But I literally have no one else to help out. My family says they'll help but never do when I need it and I can't afford daycare nor would I ever trust the ones around here. I'm so stressed out and I work this weekend. 😭

Do you have any SAHM friends? If you do you could apply for child care assistance and pay them to watch her if you trust them. Other than that I have no advice but I’m sorry you’re going through that 😕

I ended up looking for a nanny job so I could take my daughter with me. Worked out well because it gave my daughter a play mate of the same age and the nanny job paid for all the activities I did with the kids and I got to see my daughter grow up and didn’t have to rely on daycare. You get to eat at their house whenever you work and it cuts costs in a lot of different areas. Works best for taking care of child of the same age.

@isabellesmomma212, I completely understand! You have a good heart. Care.com is a great resource for finding nanny jobs. Just take time working on your profile have someone proofread it and what not. There really are a lot of perks on both sides of the table for having a nanny with a child. Just keep your eye out for parents who have crazy philosophies and definitely try to find a parent who has similar parenting style to you because that will make your job easier. If you need any help or advice feel free to message me. I honestly couldn’t say enough good about my nanny job for the last two years. It was really hard having to leave after my second child was born, but my husband and I thought that was the best choice for our family.
