Any mams with endometriosis who have tired a few treatments, can you dm me please, need some advice…

I have it, the only treatments I’ve tried are changing birth controls a lot and having a laparoscopy, think mine is returning so I understand x

@leosmummy291017 I've tried the while back to back pill thing for years, didn't work for me. I've had the laparoscopy in feb 2017 and all was well for a little while then its started again. I was going to have it again but if its just gonna keep coming back its no good. I wanted to try the treatment where you get no period at all but, I've read stuff about it damaging fertility even though they say it's a temporary menopausal state, I worry it might actually cause more problems cxx

Yeah I read about that too and decided against it as it’s painful enough as it is and I can’t cope with more problems. I had so many pills and nothing was working. Then I had my son and felt great, had the implant put in and now the pains slowly returning. It’s a horrible thing to deal with x

@leosmummy291017 how did you find the implant at first? Did it ease the pains? I saw the doctor last week because I was having chronic headaches and dizziness all the time and he thinks it's linked to it. He was telling me all these different drugs to try and nearly off them make you infertile, maybe not forever but it could take me ages to get pregnant again, if ever. And at some point I want another child, I feel like the operation was the only thing where it removes it without all the fertility worries, but its only a short term thing. Did they give you anything called mefanamic acid? I literally don't know how to deal with it anymore, I've had it for ten years and I feel like it's just gonna go on forever. Xxx

I only had my implant put in in May so it’s only been 3 months they told me I might bleed a lot for the first year (I’ve bled a bit but no where near as much as I used to) the pain is slowly starting to come back but atm it’s not too bad and I’m coping, I tried the mefanamic acid but was took off it as it was making me sick nearly everyday and it wasn’t helping the pain. I also get chronic headaches and dizziness and was told the same thing. I’ve had it for 6 years so I understand how you feel. It’s got to the point where now I’m just dealing with it as doctors don’t listen and the only true thing that works for a bit is a lap. It’s just frustrating x

@leosmummy291017 I wish there was a way the laparoscopy could just remove it for good. I've had the mefanamic acid a week now and I feel weird off it. I had it when I was younger and it was took off me by my gp because of my age, I've tried codeine and for a while that used to help ease the pain a little but now, it has no affect what so ever. I feel the same like the don't listen, I find myself not bothering to even ring them up because I just get the same old shit. Is your dizziness all the time or just when you have a period? Xxx

Yeah they don’t listen, it’s a nightmare. That’s why I’ve also stopped ringing it’s beyond a joke. I’m not sure about the dizziness atm cause I’m new to implant I’m having more periods than usual but not as much heavy bleeding x
