Is there any mommas with children who have an dairy allergy? I’m really starting to think my daughter has one. I’m going to schedule her an appointment in the morning. But she has been moving her bowels more frequently and sometimes it’s diarrhea. She’s not crying as if she has a belly ache but she’s going 3 to 4 times a day everyday sometimes twice. I’m just really worried at this point

My 11 month old has a dairy intolerance. Any amount of dairy gives him diarrhea. There’s plenty of options for things that are dairy free.

@imanimomma, things can change very fast. Just try cutting dairy out for 2 weeks. The soy yogurt is pretty good. Also there is lactose free milk. Soy milk. Almond milk. My son loves the ice cream made with cashew milk. If it helps and eliminates the tummy aches and diarrhea. I’d just keep her on a dairy free diet. Just be prepared. Dairy free is a bit more expensive

@db413, okay thank u so much! Very helpful advice she’s already on almond milk. It may be the cheese and ice cream so I’ll definitely try a dairy free diet for her

@imanimomma, there’s soy milk and nut milk ice cream if she and you still want the ice cream. And the dairy free yogurt can replace her cheese.

It sounds like an intolerance rather than an allergy, but you can try cutting out dairy to see if that makes a difference.
