The dentist recommended to me after the first tooth breaks through. But Peds recommendation is 1 year old. I’m confused so I do 1 when they have a few teeth.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends to go when the first tooth appears or no later than the first birthday. Our first trip was just after she turned one. She didn’t get her first tooth until she was about 8 or 9 months though.
