Ladies, Minnesota has our state fair coming up and we got two free tickets. We plan on going but I'm terrified to leave McKenna. Shes breastfed so I should be pumping to get milk for her for that day we go but its unmotivating cause I'll only get an oz or so. I'm also worried because she is such a difficult baby and I'm not sure how someone else would handle her. I also have left her for more then 20 minutes and then to leave her all day ? Ugh. I wanna go because me and my fiance go every hear but idk how to handle being away from McKenna

The state fair is so much fun. I'm trying to talk my SO into letting us go 😂 I can take my baby (oldest) on rides this year.

Just say "I don't think I'll be able to provide enough milk for our child and I think it's a safer route, miserable or not " even if it's not true.

Since the fair is still a few weeks away I would just start pumping now a few times a day. I can see where your so is coming from since it’s nice to get away just the two of you for a bit. I wanted to go this year but I refuse to bring my 1 year old ds😂 my parents are going on the 27th-29th so I’ll be pet sitting and my dd gets her tubes done then anyways. Maybe next year for us

I think alone time with your s/o would be beneficial especially after having a baby it's crucial in a relationship to still make time for just the 2 of you. You got awhile before the fair you could start pumping now and I think you would be fine.
