So I REALLY want a DockATot but some moms have reported it growing mold. I hope they fixed this.

I would think the mold is from them not properly being cleaned and maintained. Also from not following manufacturers directions. As long as you do so, it should be fine.

@pettybetty, that’s what I was thinking.. I’m still going to get it. Hopefully no mold for me. Also is it just completely ruined if there’s mold? Can’t it be clean up?

@chasinghappiness, I had one and would remove the liner to wash. I loved it and my son slept in it til he got too wide. But it’s awesome, the baby doesn’t feel “alone” in it.

I love the Dockatot! So easy to travel with and baby will sleep anywhere that way! Like others have said: wash the cover regularly and you shouldn't have a problem with mold. :)

Been looking at them too. Spendy but neat. Amazon has some similar brands too.

How different is this from like the little co-sleepers that go on the bed ?

I’m debating whether or not to get it! It sounds awesome but It is 100% safe for the baby to sleep in it?

@leoshearnold, its supposed to mimics the womb a lot of women have said they can’t live without it and that the baby sleeps longer.

@luana_nyc, I believe it is. You just put your baby face up and with the cushions around it the baby shouldn’t be able to move around much. It’s like they’re sleeping in a hug lol. At least that’s what it looks like to me.
