I was going to try working up until 37 weeks but i go to the doctors Friday and i think I’m going to ask her about going on leave soon. I just can’t handle the exhaustion and pain anymore
I work at a summer camp & it’s over in 2 weeks; I’ll be 38weeks... trying to stick it out although I’m on my feet all day in the heat with the youngest kids at camp lol
I would have worked through to about 37 weeks but things didn’t go as planned and I physically couldn’t
I was trying to stay at work until I go into labor (desk job, no public interaction) but I'm in so much pain and emotional misery at 38+5 that I'm considering making tomorrow my last day. It's just really hard to gamble with leave/vacation time- I'm like "do I REALLY need to stay home now??"
@aengs2, I stopped at 5 months with my last 2 pregnancies because I was high risk.
Depends on your job and if you're high risk. I worked up until I went into labor at work at 39 weeks 4 days.
I worked up until the day I had my 1st and am planning on doing the same now with my 2nd.
I worked until I couldn’t efficiently do my job any longer lol it was 2.5 weeks before baby came
Today was my last day but I used pto cuz I woke up feeling terrible today
Usually around 7 or 8 months. But some work throughout the entire pregnancy.
I’m due in September went out in the beginning of July couldn’t take all the weight the baby was putting on my back on legs
