There were 3 that came in and checked my daughter throughout our stay in the hospital. Before leaving I picked the one I liked the best and she’s really an amazing doctor.
I chose the pediatrician I work with.. you can also do meet and greets for free while you’re still pregnant. I think it may depend on your state though..
I picked the practice that was in the same building as my OB. They have like 20 doctors so I figured I'd find one that I liked. Had visits with about six of them in the fiest two weeks and picked the one we liked best.
I googled and checked reviews. Had a top 5 list and called to check if they accepted our insurance. Got one of the best thank goodness. I call about anything regarding my kids and they are seen that day.

When my son was first born I didn’t get to choose they were assigned to us. 😔 I couldn’t stand her.

We just had the on call ped check our boy. Then we took him to the one my daughter has been going to.
