Question, there is a four month sleep regression/ growth spurt right? This little chick hasn't slept all week and is back to eating every two hours (on the dot!). Tmi but my nipples are sore and letdowns are painful and I'm dying here. She won't take a bottle at all so no help there. She's my third, so I should be good at this, right?

Yes there is. And I feel you pain. My 3rd was the hardest to nurse also didn’t take a bottle and was pretty much on the tit all day. Hugs I know it’s rough.

Unfortunately, yes there is. What bottle have you been using? Have you tried different ones? Hang in there! I def remember those nights. Feel free to text me to vent!

@mojobebe I've tried like three different ones. She won't even take a paci either. At least my dh woke up at eight so I could nap a bit

They definitely have a sleep regression. I had to stop breastfeeding, so I'm not having as hard a time as you, but after Rylan was sleeping 8 hours a night for about a month, as soon as he hit 4 months he's been back to waking every 3 or 4 hours and daytime naps are a nightmare. When he's tired, the eye rubbing starts, then he starts screaming and I have to rock him, while holding his hand, stroking in between his eyes, shooshing him and holding his paci in his mouth all at the same time for about an hour. I can't offer any advice but just know it will start to settle down again in the next few weeks. Just stick to your routine with her as much as you can and it will sort itself out.

@mamagunn.no.1 oh poor mama! I hope it's over for you and he sleeps better. I've been thinking about stopping bfing, but then again I'd have to start washing bottles. I keep reminding myself that. I think it will be over soon though (I hope!) She just slept six hours!

@leenie, mine also went through this at 4 mos. old. I was just back to work and then this hit. I was like a zombie sleep-walking at work. Good luck momma, this too shall pass!

@leenie oh that's good! 😊 a bit of sleep is always nice! Lol we all have a cold at the moment and last night he slept 7 hours again 😮 it could be coz he's sick, or maybe his sleep is sorting itself out with any luck 🤞 and yeah I'd definitely still be breastfeeding if I could. I had an ear infection though and had to stop coz of antibiotics. My supply wasn't great to begin with so dried up really quick. Washing bottles is no joke 😂
