My little man hasn’t been feeling good lately, which is causing him not to sleep very well in his crib. He normally sleeps fine in there, but since his tummy has been bothering him he wakes up every hour or two. When my boyfriend leaves for work at 3:30am, I have been just bringing the baby into bed with me and he sleeps fine. I have mixed feelings though. I don’t want him to get used to sleeping with me, but at the same time, he is sick and feels more comfortable if he’s laying with me. I want to do what I can to keep him comfortable.
@ecahanes, because when he feeding he will stop and scrunch up and start crying. The dr told me that’s gas pains. I give him gas drops and they help, but don’t take it away completely. So I started him on probiotics but said it could take up to a week or so of use for them to make a difference. When he’s teething he bites me while I’m nursing, so I know it’s not that. Plus, i can tell he is tired because he will be falling asleep while nursing, and then all of a sudden do that scrunched up thing and start crying and that wakes him up. And he will rub his eyes real hard.
@ecahanes, we went through the 4 month sleep regression, and he wasn’t acting fussy like that like he was in pain. He would just wake up and talk and babble in his crib until I went in and nursed him back to sleep.
