I need some advice; I'm insanely close to getting out of here and into an apartment but today...my mother has returned to her old ways and has started thinking it is just to throw things at me; and belittling my husband and I. My husband has now been kicked out of the house due to stepping up for me when she threw something at me this morning. Right now I am only here to have a place to stay because I have no where else to go and I feel I'll be stressed either way even if I go somewhere else. But what are good key ways to keep looking forward in this kind of situation. The only thing I have is 'I'll be moving out soon.' But I feel uncomfortable doing anything at all right now, I don't even feel like enjoying any hobbies in general and I can feel myself going into a deep stressing depression.

You should be wherever your husband is.

Wow. Throwing things at you? While you’re pregnant? That sounds like a very unhealthy place for you to be and it sounds like it’s starting to impact your mental wellbeing. Do you have any other friends or family members to stay with? Even a shelter would be a better temporary place than this. So sorry.

How close is insanely close? Like a week? Can you crash at someone else’s house so you can get out of the stressful environment? That’s not good for baby.

@penelope127 I may have a solution tomorrow, it just sucks that it's my mom. She was doing really well with her attitude problem and I was starting to think she had changed. Today just came out of nowhere it felt like--I'm so worried that even if I do leave I'll still end up being just as stressed out as when I left. I have absolutely no idea how to relax over this.
Close as in maybe a week or two? I'm worried about it being later, the apartment still needs to be checked out before I move in.

Start applying for apartments. If you have low income, apply for all of those. Your local health department should have resources available to you as well. Numbers to call and such. If you have a friend of family member that would allow you and your husband to stay with them, go there as soon as possible. You have to get out of this situation, if not for you then for your baby.

@ek620 It truly just came out of nowhere, she was doing fine for a while and I even thought she might have grown up a little bit. I hate to be proven wrong like this, it's just sad. I'm mostly concerned about getting back into feeling at ease. I haven't bounced back into feeling better yet. I might get the apartment tomorrow, next week, or maybe even a month later and I'm worried about the stress following me because this stuff lingers.
I might just go stay with his parents tomorrow, if I can but damn. Jumping from house to house lately is starting to make me unsettled in general.

@jea0716th the apartment we picked out just has to be okayed and then we can move right in.

@amandaladams, I hope the apartment will get approved soon & you can be settled in your own place. Good luck!

@jacob_mommy We should get our apartment okayed soon so we can move in and stuff; But I'm really sorry you can relate so well. Nobody should have to go through this; the struggle is very real.

Omfg same. No joke. My mom's been abusive from the start so I'm not surprised this happened today. The bad thing Is it's your parent so you expect them to act like an adult and trust them to an extent. Then this shit happens and You're like I fell for it again.
Fuck
*Stress intensifies*
