How horrible is it letting my son watch the iPad till he falls asleep??? Or until he gets sleepy???…

Do what you need to mama! He's your baby. As long as he's not on it alllllllll day, I think you're fine

@k.rae, yeah I mean he’s definitely not an “iPad kid” lol, you know those kids who are on it ALLLLLL DAAAAY. I don’t even let him eat with it . But at night it’s kind of become routine that he asks for it and watches it either till he goes to sleep or I take it and turn it off if it’s time to sleep and he hasn’t gone down. I like to lay with him and be on my phone at that time too. So I guess that’s why I feel some guilt?? Lol

Hey you gotta do what you gotta do! My daughters have been watching Disney Jr for about 3 hrs smh... I pulled something in my neck yesterday and I was in so much pain that we had to go to the Chiropractor as soon as we could. I mean I was in tears it hurt so bad to move period. I couldn't even squat down enough to use the restroom. I was having something that felt like contractions in my neck. The chiropractor helped a little but I have another appt on Tues. Sooooo I went to work in pain today, then my cycle started so I'm cramping and I'm tired bc my day started at 7am.. To top it off, I keep a clean house and since I was down my so was in charge kids and he cleans NOTHING (but them in the bath) so my house is a wreck! I'm so disgusted... Oh and my brother wrecked my car into my house yesterday while picking my daughter up from school since i was unable to drive...I just need to sleep right now bc I'm over it... Disney Jr is in control until daddy gets off Lol! Guess I finally got to vent when this post wasn't even about me lol! I'm sure you don't feel so bad now though! 😘😘😘

@kelley.blue, I’m so sorry you are having such a rough time . I really hope your neck problems resolve soon . It seems like when it rains , it pours. I had a really rough few days this week too, from my son bringing home lice , to my cars transmission failing, to now some problems at my job. I shed a lot of tears , What can I say I’m just a stress cryer lol. I’m really glad that this post was a safe space for you to vent . Take some midol or Motrin for those cramps girl. Take a deep breath, Relax and eat whatever your want Lol . It will pass, hang in there mama.

I don’t feel bad about my 1 year old playing his fisher price game on the iPad or watching Netflix “word party” episodes before bed. As long as it’s not all day everyday there’s no reason to worry

@domsmama96 , oh wow! Thank you and I see it's been one of those weeks for you too! So sorry. I cried a few times yesterday. I felt like my so didn't understand but I had to sit back and realize he took on a lot yesterday as well. I hope that your issues at work get under control. But at times like this mama, it's better for you to let little man do whatever it takes to keep him calm bc you are stressed and that sometimes causes us to have a short fuse. Extra tablet time here and there is not going to hurt him. I'll say a prayer for you tonight bc you need it just as much as I do hun. I'm sure we'll have better weeks next week!

Ps. I hope that your car gets fixed soon... We definitely need those cars!

@kelley.blue, thank you mama! As will I pray for healing over your neck. And thankfully it’s under warranty and they hooked me up with a free rental while it’s repaired . God is good always, I’m speaking it in to reality , next week will be better for the both of us.

My daughter eats better when I put the iPad on and she watches bubble guppies.

She doesn’t play on it, so when it’s on, it’s just sort of in the background and she plays around it, or leaves it in the living room while she roams the house 🤣 but it’s pretty much on all day. We’ll take it to bed sometimes, but mostly I read to her to help settle her down. It all depends on you. I don’t care if moms were to give me crap about it being on all day cuz she isn’t glued to it, she’s still really active and tells me when she wants to play outside if I forget and am busy with inside chores. Each baby is different so you do what keeps you sane and gets you through the day 🤣

@christineg, I completely agree mama! I don’t have a problem with it as long as he’s not completely consumed and stuck to it all day! Which he isn’t lol, I don’t think that would be healthy for any child no matter the age . But I wanted to see how bad others thought it was letting him fall asleep to it . Which we have luckily managed to nip it in the bud for the most part but some nights he still does get it.

Also can we please talk about how we were pregnant together and now you’re on baby #3, and I still just have 1! 😭 lol

@domsmama96, 🤣🤣🤣 for reals tho! All I can say is... be careful what you pray for 😝 me and my husband joke about how prayers take a while to get to heaven, so now all God gets is all our prayers for more babies 🤣🤣🤣
