Okay so my son is lazy. He is almost 9 months and won’t hold his bottle or a sippy cup. Any advice to get him to do that?

It took a while for my daughter to get the hang of tipping a cup to drink. We used a straw cup instead so she didn’t need to tip it. The munchkin cups with the weighted straw were good too since she could drink sitting up or reclining.

@jmedina, when I try he gets pissed and yanks his hands back to himself and yells. He’s like pissed that I’m trying to help him 😂

Put his hands in the proper place while he eats so he gets use to it.

@modom16, I meant anything in general. He wants me to do it. He will hold a sippy with handles but waves it around and laughs. 😂 he tries to put his mouth over it but I don’t think he understand to tip it up bc when I try to show him he gets mad

@mommytotheo, yes I have a few. He holds the handles and swings them around 😂 or he will hold it in front of him and put his mouth over the spout and when I try to help him and show him you have to go up. He gets pissed bc I’m trying to show him 😂

He doesn’t really need to hold bottles. For sippy cups if you put him in his high chair and put it on the tray will he not grab it?

Have you tried a sippy with handles? NUK has some with handles. Theo holds those ones great
