**Moms with breastfeeding experience**
I'm a blogger and I'm working on creating a collective of such stories to encourage moms around the world who want to breastfeed freely, but are having a hard time finding the confidence to do so, in fear of backlash. I want to help #NormalizeBreastfeeding
1) Please share a time when you received backlash OR praise, while breastfeeding your baby
2) A piece of advice for moms afraid of breastfeeding in public
3) Your first name
Your responses will be published on my blog
Thanks!
@blessed_mommywife anytime💖 everyone should feel safe and proud to breastfeed anywhere #freetheboob
Well yesterday for the first time i received backlash from a man who told me to either go home and do it or cover up the baby because he found it offensive . My response was I find your face offensive but yet your out in public without a mask. With my oldest I i received praise from an elder woman in the middle of a mall food court who loudly said that's the most beautiful thing in the world and no one should ever have a problem with it and to keep being a great mother
My advice is be strong and know it's the most natural thing in the world no matter any blacklask you get it's beautiful and it's natural 💖
I have an autoimmune disorder. it's genetic. My father had it, I have it, and bloodwork at 3mo showed my son had it. He was exclusively breast fed. At 2 years old they repeated blood work and determined his immune system was the same as a 6 year old. The Dr has no medical reason for the boost. He could only attribute it to the breastfeeding.
