Absolutely not too much, dress that baby up! I'm letting my fiance pick out our daughter's and he's doing a onsie, leggings, tutu and everything.

Not at all! You can dress baby up how ever you'd like!..my choice for my kids was just zip up pjs and a beanie I wanted them to be comfortable and cozy.

With my daughter I had a very cute 5 piece outfit to go home in and before we could do any pictures she pooped all in it. So she ended up going home in just a sleeper. With our son we weren't gonna go too fancy so once Hubby found this outfit(picture attached) he was dead set and so was I. One word of advice take several options. This outfit is a 0-3 months and he's swimming in it. End result is this is your baby so you dress her up as you would like. If YOU feel after she's dressed it's too much then you have options to change her into

I was also debating on if I should take 0/3 or newborn.. newborn seems so small!!! My last baby didn’t fit in newborn 🙄 so I think I’ll just take both sizes lol
