@brinsma it's a common problem! I'll link an article for you on how to fix uneven straps on this seat too, so you don't end up in a parking lot unable to leave like me 😂🙈

It was when we first got it, but over time it's become much easier. Try grabbing the 2 straps at the back of the seat and pulling down on them while you pull up on the tightening strap (hopefully that makes sense).
