I would honestly start forcing some independence on your child. He may hate it at first but he’d slowly get used to it. Like my son LOST. HIS. SHIT. in his high chair for a couple days but I just kept trying. I’d distract him with funny faces or toys etc while placing him in. Eventually he started to accept it and will now go in there. Sometimes
I’ll put him in the high chair, give him toys to play, while I take care of a few things
