My mom's labors were extremely fast. Just boom and done. Mine was 15 hours.

My mom had 5 of us, all taking several hours at least. My daughter only took 6 hrs start to finish so not sure how true that is.

@kendrab, Haha my bad! The 15 hours really wasn't too bad though. I think it's pretty standard. It flew by too. It's all a blur for me at least. Best of luck!

Nah I don't believe that at all. My mom had a fast labor with me, but a week late and I was 10lbs 12oz vaginal birth. Then she had two long labors and c section with my brothers. My labor with my son was 16hrs, a month early, and ended in c section. My grandma had 8 kids and all were crazy different too. Also I am now pregnant with my second and I am past the point I had my first son. Idk if he will come on his own or not but I am having another c section. It just doesn't really work like that. Every woman and every pregnancy is different.

Yes they sure did! I hope you are just as lucky and labor comes easy and fast for you. I went to my 36wk appt and was told "You aren't leaving here without a baby!" Was trynna have him naturally for 16hrs before I had to have a c section.

@aengs2 when you hear 15 hours or so flew by it's hard to believe but you hear it from so many mommas! I hope even if mines long it does fly! But as long as theres a healthy baby and me in the end result I guess I cant complain how long labor was♡

Well my mom had 4 kids and all fast and painless my sister was born on the on the wheelchair getting her to her room how fast it was. My sister labor was fast and painless as well me am a crybaby can’t not take pain first baby too and it was fast as well I push 4 times and he was out. When to the hospital around 6:30 and he was here 9:17 contractions got bad about 30 min before I had to push

@babymay2016 biggest fear is a c section! Especially after so long in labor id be a little heart broken.. well probably not cause then I'd have my baby and wouldn't care how I got her lol

@kendrab Yeah it is a little scary but it isn't that bad.. It is really just the recovery that is the worst part. The actual c section was really okay. I am just more terrified this time actually because I know how bad the recovery is and they will be cutting in the same spot... tying my tubes... and the scar tissue healing I heard hurts much worse. Not looking forward to it 😥

I sure hope mine goes like my mother's did with me. 6 hours. 🤞🤞

@babymay2016 I'll be praying for you momma♡ I heard the recover for c section is 2x worse and longer ); Which I think is the main reason why I'm so scared of one.. I'm scared of meds and surgery but that's "quick" where the recovery is going to be anything but quick :/

I don’t know if it is true but my mother longest labor was 8 hours. Mine was also 8. My youngest I delivered in 3. I didn’t have any contractions then my water broke and he was born 3 hours later.
