Exactly why my dear 😊 your already diabetic no need to test you for it. Why aren't you seeing a specialist, type 1 or 2?

28 weeks is about when they do glucose tests. They make you drink a sugary drink and watch your sugar levels and draw blood.

If you already have diabetes I don’t think you do the test they’ll just continue to monitor baby while you’re pregnant.

@angelfoodcake, type 2. I see a specialist. Never did before I was pregnant. I’m on insulin now and have to test my sugar 5 times a day. I’ve had a dr appointment every week just about since becoming pregnant

@fishinamanda Great, you are on the right track. Me as well but not every week twice a month, one with my regular ob and one with specialist for now, Why every week is everything okay? Well you be induced? Is this your first ?

@angelfoodcake, well they’re still trying to get my sugar under control so they were monitoring me. They’re saying I’ll most likely be two weeks early and will know more when the time gets closer. This is my first one and I’m super scared bc all of the unknowns

@fishinamanda yeah uncontrolled will.make you have to be seen more. Is baby measuring okay? how much insulin do you take ? What are you fastings and two hour?

@angelfoodcake, I take regular and slow release twice a day. I take combined amount to equal 48 in the morning and 30 at night. Today my readings was really good. They just up my dose last week so hoping that helps. I go back next week and see the dr again.

@fishinamanda I take 17 slow 2x a day and 8 fast 3 times a day.
