By curiosity, my doctor wants to do a ultrasound for growth I’ve had a fairly great pregnancy he even said I’m doing…

i just had mine yesterday and my due date changed to august 28th

They always give you an ultrasound for a growth check. They want to check and see how big the baby is growing

@mommmy2k15 yep that might be why they want measurements done for baby to make sure hes not measuring too big , my daughter measured in the 93rd percentile

@shay2beautiful, My first pregnancy I had 2. Beginning and finding out the gender a lot of women don’t have multiple ultrasound.

If you're measuring ahead at all growth scans are fairly normal. I have to have them at the end of my pregnancies because my kids have all been bigger than 9lbs.

@mommmy2k15 lol yea but I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead my whole pregnanct but like pp said sometimes it is normal

I have been measuring right on track the entire pregnancy. But my insurance covers a growth scan so I just had one (which was also my first 3d imaging of my little guy too). The ultrasound estimated at 35.5 weeks he was weighing 6lbs9oz which is about 38 weeks but they can easily be off by 1-2lbs so my OB said still doing perfect timing wise. 😍 I hope he stays in and waits until we are in September. Lol

My doctor is doing the same thing, tomorrow. Checking growth & fluid. I've had no issues thus far- he just wants to be sure.
