How soon is too soon to go back to work after having a baby? I’m waiting at least the six weeks but my family keeps saying I should wait a year and that’s just too unrealistic for me being a signal mother.

I don't think there is a "too soon" it's just whenever you feel ready. I plan on going back ASAP I don't even want to wait the 6 weeks.

6 weeks was plenty for me physically. A year seems a bit much to go unpaid.

I just started back when my son turnes 8 months but you do what you go to do. If you feel 6 weeks is good then go for it.

Agreed. 6 weeks is good. Of course all moms wish they could stay home a whole yr with baby but unfortunately some moms do it alone & just can’t.
