Welp Rory has Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, thanks to his cousin's doctor for misdiagnosing. Their doctor said one kid had scabies and one had strep throat, our son started feeling sick within a couple hours of playing with them when their medicine should have made it safe (if diagnosis was correct). Now we have a 9.5 mo with a painful disease that could have been avoided. 😤

My son had it at 10 months from daycare. It was awful. I hope he feels better and doctors should know what it is!! That’s ridiculous to say it’s something else when it’s not

@momof2boys88 I have no idea how a medical professional got such a simple diagnosis wrong. And I'm so angry because I've been crying all day about how much pain my son is in.

@mommy.to.sterling I've actually heard the doctors office can be a common place of transmission for super contagious diseases like hfmd. So I'm not surprised, however, they shouldn't have denied it when you came back and they should have let the room air out before they put you guys back there.... 🙄😐
