Anyone else clean their cats litter box even though your pregnant because nobody else will do it?

Yesssss wear gloves and a mask , I leave mine until my moms comes once a week to clean it

I use baking soda to cut some of the smell in between changes

@bitchcraft, well glad I’m not the only one that has to do it. I usually just open the doors and windows to air out the house and throw a trash bag over the box and just dump it right out and refill it.

Yess ..my husband normally does it for me but sometimes forgets .. definitely cover your mouth and nose and use gloves if you have any

@jordanrwilliams25, atleast yours does it. Mine refuses. He’d rather kick the cat outside until the baby is born

Yes. It’s not so much of a risk for indoor cats as long as you keep it clean and wash up well after.

I do. I was told it is only a big no if your cat is an outdoors cat. My cat has lived her whole life inside so she isn't that big of a risk. I scoop it every day but will make my partner do the full weekly cleaning.

My boyfriend does it now but we both hate doing it so much that once or twice a week we just throw the whole thing away and start over. We get the cheap cat boxes from Walmart for like 2 bucks and cheap cat litter lol

Yes. My husband travels so I have no choice. I just wear disposable rubber gloves just in case.
