I had a small tear during labor on the 5th and today after going home my tear is 100 times more painful since I don’t have any more meds and not being at the hospital. I took Tylenol and I’ve been using the benzocaine they gave me at the hospital (spraying directly on the pad) but I’m in so much pain I just woke up from a nap and busted into tears.
Anyone have any other recommendations on pain relief? My doctor isn’t in the office until tomorrow.

You could make some postpartum popsicle. Aloe Vera and witch hazel on a pad and frozen!
The tucks cooling pads. Mostly anywhere. Drugstore, targets walmart etc
Ask if they can give you a sitz bath. I was supposed to get one but they forgot mine at discharge. You can alternate warm and cold compresses. Sit on a pillow and keep spraying liberally. The witch hazel pads also helped me.
When I was in pain it was because they stitched me up so tight I did warm sitz baths to ease it a lil I didn't have pain meds either
My friend tore & said ice packs were her best friend, hope you get some relief & start feeling better.
You can take Tylenol and Ibuprofen at the same time. 1000mg tylenol and 800 ibuprofen at one time is the max.
@penelope127, they gave me some other type of spray that’s like it. They told me to spray in pads instead of directly on skin
