I heard/saw a mom screaming at her 1.5 year old tonight at Walmart. I mean we all have those days, but this was different. She was in his face calling him names like F-ing A**hole. The worst part was she was with what I assume to be her husband or at least baby daddy and they were looking at baby things for another one on the way. My husband hustled us out of there because both kids were with but I can't stop thinking about that poor little boy. My heart is so broken right now. I wish I could have helped him. All the other moms in the baby aisle hustled their kids out of there too, but I just should have done more. I'm not sure what I could have done though.

So sad, I honestly hate parents like that, cussing at a. Baby that's just crazy...

I came across something similar yesterday at Publix. This man was in one of the motorized scooter things that stores have for elderly/disabled customers and he had this kid that looked to be about 4 on his lap. The kid was holding a card and envelope and he accidentally dropped it. The man started screaming at him for dropping it. I was absolutely speechless 😳 I get snapping every so often because the kids are being well, kids but to straight up scream like that over an accident in public? Holy cow.

@joffree. I know! I just don't understand it. I felt afraid of her. I can't imagine how her baby feels. Doing that doesn't teach kids anything about their actions. It just shows them that we can't control our emotions so why should they. I hate to think what these people do in the privacy of their own home.

I know what you mean, but some grown folks need to be checked (in a calm way), wrong is wrong. If I'm close enough to someone to witness that behavior it be hard to ignore. Most people say to mind your business but I don't like that idea..the least I would've done especially if my child was around was ask her to not use those inappropriate/hurtful words.

Plus she's pregnant so I really just hope that she was just having a bad day & that she's not like that all the time .

@bitchcraft @danyellehouse56 my husband keeps insisting it wasn't our place and that we shouldn't get involved in other people's business, but I just can't stop thinking about that little boy. Things like this only get worse when people who know better remain quiet. I should have said something. Even my daughter said "she needs to calm down, mama, she better reset." (we do a count down from 10 when any of us get angry or upset to give us time to calm down adults included. We call the count down a reset... I know it sounds silly but it really works) I should have done more :-(

@mct lol I remember my boyfriend counting down to my son and I was wondering why..now that makes since. Honestly my boyfriend is one of those people who say "stay out of it" unless it's a worse situation but yeh things do get worse when people don't say things..but I've been in that position before and said nothing but felt so bad.. I'm different now , I'm tired of letting people off the hook, heck I like when my family/random people check me whenever I had attitudes. Yeah especially if it's others around your afraid you might get told off by the angry parent but yeah as long as your respectful I don't see a problem.. I'd hope the father would be understanding
