I had the most basic bag my second go. I also packed it the day my water broke lol.
I had a going home outfit, phone charger, travel size hygiene products (soap, hair stuff), 4 baby swaddles/blankets, and 4 white onesies and going home clothes for baby.
@wolfnurturer, literally sounds like the best idea ever. I’m sitting here worried about what to pack and now i think I’m going to pack just a basic little bag like you mentioned
@sara_elizabeth2014 thanks, it's really what you feel you guys need and want. My hospital was awesome with snacks and food. I also brought extra pillows (thank goodness).
@wolfnurturer, i was planning on packing two coming home outfits for the baby just Incase he doesn’t fit in a newborn size. But did you pack clothes for your baby to be in during your hospital stay or did you just do the one outfit?
@sara_elizabeth2014 I would do that. The white onesies were for the stay but I decided to keep my baby bare and just wrapped in a swaddle. Our room was very toasty for the baby, so clothes and a swaddle would've been over doing it for us.
