Okay working and SAHMamas, I need your help deciding something.
I got lucky that I have the opportunity to stay home continue education or continue with work.. I made a pros and cons list.. the thing Is that I would start work August 14 and I feel bad letting them know I was might be not coming in anymore because my boss had told me to let him know sooner rather than later. I don’t trust any sitters I’ve sat down with, the schedule is messy but do able. My son gets off at 2 from school and I would have to drop kids off and work night shifts 4-10 6 days a week. Unfortunately, my boss wasn’t able to work out a part time schedule for me. 😭 idk I’m so confused

I had a hard time deciding too. Money wasn’t an issue at all, my income would have just been savings. But I was worried about socialization, and just the feeling of getting my own paycheck. I tried working for a little while when baby girl was 4 months old and honestly it just didn’t go well. When in doubt, choose your kids, because there will be tons of time yo make money later. So I think if you have the opportunity to stay home you should take it. Go to mom groups and get out of the house a lot to have grown up conversations and feel like a normal person haha. If you really want to get your own paycheck or if the money is necessary maybe find something two or three days a week? Six is a lot. The bonding, especially for your 2 month old is soo important. And no one, not even a family member, will care for your children the way you can.

Stay at home! Your kids would rather have YOU than anyone else. Nobody will care for them the way you will. They’re only little for so long. If you have the opportunity to be with them over working, take it. Make a budget and if money is tight try getting creative and spending less.
