Charlies a very very fussy eater... especially with breakfast... this morning all he will willingly have is an 8oz glass of milk... and a raspberry oat bar! Is that enough for a breakfast?
He's also had a couple of raisins
I'd originally offerd him weatabix with banana

I think it's fine you can't make them eat and something is better than nothing just offer him snacks often and he will be fine they say that children prefers to snack rather than eat meals so I think it's fine x
Laura·
@jodiedillon3 it seems to always be breakfast that we struggle with... yesterday he ate two slices of toast.. I was amazed... today next to nothing xx
Lauren·
@laurabump27, I wouldn't worry to much beaut! McKenzie is the same one day will eat loads next will hardly eat nothing, they'll eat when they're hungry just keep offering snacks throughout the day and give extra milk so he's getting the calories that's what I do with McKenzie it's so frustrating hope they grow out of it soon xxx
K·
I'd say that's enough I'd offer him a snack soon xx @laurabump27
Laura·
@chesscalouise2 what sort of snacks would u offer?
Do u think maybe hes filling up on the milk? Xx
Laura·
@mummyto2boys Yea yesterday he ate loads for breakfast I was shocked!!
Today nearly nothing.
I always worry hes feeling unwell but hes fine in himself. Do u think it's just fussiness? It's weird how breakfast is always the worst one xx
K·
Yeah he probably is fulling up on the milk my sons the same age and only has 1 7oz bottle before bed he's like a eating machine for snacks I tend to give mine fruit yogurts sausage rolls crisp fruit bars popcorn mine love popcorn xx @laurabump27
Lauren·
@laurabump27, Aweh! I would just say it's there age maybe? As McKenzie is like it all the time and he's not poorly would rather play and get up to things rather than sit and eat it's like he ain't got the time to sit still for food Yano! With McKenzie he'll pick a bit at breakfast a bit for lunch and the same for tea, I usually try and do his favourite so he'll eat haha xx
Laura·
@chesscalouise2 I didn't know they could have popcorn.ooo I'll get some sausage rolls too!! Did he drop that morning bottke himself?
I might cut it out tmz n see if his breakfast is better xx
K·
He's only been having 1 bottle for months now iv always put food before milk when he turned 1 popcorn is meant to be really good for you xx @laurabump27

Мама сына (2 года)
Try not to worry I’d say that’s enough, my boy eats next to nothing at breakfast (unless I make pancakes 🤣) he used to be really fussy and only like dry crunchy foods but is much better now I really recommend the baby led weaning apps there’s some great recipes on there x
Laura·
@chesscalouise2 ooo what popcorn do you buy? I've just sat on the floor pretending to eat toast and he's come and snatched half and eaten it... sometimes i think it's a battle of the wills xx
Laura·
@sophie_30 I'm such a bad cook too... breakfast is always the worst meal of the day for us. I'm rubbish at portion sizes too xx

Мама двоих (младенец)
That sounds like enough but I’d cut back on the milk or offer it after he eats instead
K·
Just any sweet pop corn xx @laurabump27

@laurabump27 When I spoke to the health visitor about Ethan she said that boys can be lazy and take the easy option if they know they will get milk. So what I've been doing is giving him milk but only once he's eaten and then it's almost like a top up if he's still hungry. Xx
Laura·
@jodie1809 how much milk does he have in a day? My little boy isn't even keep on his night time bottle of milk either. Xx
Jodie·
Before I spoke to the health visitor he was having up to 4 bottles, he's now having 4oz after breakfast, 4oz after lunch and then a bottle before bed. If he wakes up in the night he has a maximum of 3oz, so 2 bottles in total.@laurabump27 xx
