when they do an ultrasound to check your cervix can they see if your dilated too or only cervix…

They likely won’t check for dilation until you’re later in your pregnancy. I didn’t get checked until 35 weeks, and that’s only because I asked.

@thatbeachyblonde oh well I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and they are worried because my cervix keeps shortening but they checked like 2 weeks ago and my cervix was closed

@erikanbethune2, If you’re high risk or having issues with your pregnancy, they’ll certainly keep a close eye on you. I had a normal pregnancy with no issues which is why I wasn’t checked until late.

I got check at my 20-week anatomy scan because I had a short cervix.

@erikanbethune2 it was 1.5cm at 20 weeks. they put in a emergency Cerclage and I've been stable at 1cm since. I'm here if u need me
