I send out baby shower invites, people send me messages asking when is the baby shower, what Time is it, where am I registered all questions that are clearly answered on the invitations! Plus I gave invitations to my grandma 2 weeks ago to give to the older people that asked for one......she never gave them to them!🤦🏾 I asked peoole to respond before the 10th of this month because it's a LOT of people and I have things to buy!What was the point of spending money on these expensive ass invitations. Yet, no one is understanding my venting!

I totally understand. I'm sorry it is working out that way. I created ours on PowerPoint and used a CVS coupon to print them and so I only paid like 0.03 an invite plus stamps (those are expensive!)
I hounded people to answer us if they hadn't and we had 75 invited, 20 out of towners that couldn't come, and about 5 say no, so we were looking at 50 people....when the shower came we ended up having around 35 instead. It was frustrating since we had to buy all the food and everything but I was grateful for a little less people too. Even with more people you won't get a lot of the stuff you need. Something I didn't know but as soon as it was over I talked to other moms here and heard the same thing, cute baby clothes, bibs, etc. Not usually the primary essentials. I hope it works out better for you though! Fingers crossed!! 🤞

@heilwife317 right. Thats why I've made sure that I have the things that really matter already. People completely disregard your registry. I find it kinda disrespectful in a way.

Luckily some of my in laws have been asking me what i want the most or ask me what’s something big i need that they can get.

I’m mostly concerned about diapers though. Seems like nobody really buys them anymore for baby showers

@moifait, my mil is in charge of all the baby shower stuff. I suggested a diaper raffle but she didn’t put it on any of the invites or the facebook invite. I’m debating just telling everyone myself doing the raffle part myself. I did one with my first pregnancy and i ended up i had diapers until he was 8 months old
