Hey everyone it's been forever since I've opened this app. My baby girl is 1 yrs old. And I finally had the courage to leave her father. He was verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive towards me and didn't treat my daughter right. He keeps hitting her for no reasons. Honestly I'm terrified. I'm not sure where to start. I am seeking help within family...and not getting a good start with that. Mom's who have left their ex hubbys...would you mine shedding some light? I didn't have family support, or friends so we had to go to a womens shelter. Its tough but it felt safe at least, which made it worth it.

@jeannettegmz2 I'm in the process of leaving. My daughter and I have no one to go to. No one one in the family wants to take us in. I have to find day care and a place to stay for us before we officially leave

If he’s hitting your 1 year old child you need to leave NOW whether you have somewhere to go or not. Go to a shelter, you cannot have your child being abused while you find a daycare and a place.
