Finally pulled the steri strips off my insision now i just need to work on getting the glue off. Everything ive read says it should be off at about 2w pp and im almost 3 i can only imagine that its like a bacteria breeding ground after so long

It shouldn't be nasty under it. I went to see my dr I think two weeks and she peeled it off for me to check my insision. Mine peeled of pretty easily and didn't hurt at all (because I'm numb there)

@jmedina It pretty much healed in the spots where i was able to get the glue off. I have one spot on the edge where its open and draining but it was getting trapped under the glue so i def had to get it off before it got infected

If it's open and draining it sounds like it's already infected. Has your dr seen that?

@jmedina No, i didnt notice it until yesterday. Im going to call him on monday. If i remember correctly ive had this same issue with my other c sections. But it cleared up with a bandaod and triple antibiotic. Its not painful or super red around it.

Ok I have had two and it would just freak me out Haha my dr likes to see patients a week sooner than others because if it does get infected it would be horrible by the checkup.
