My man is after getting a dog in about 6 month time. He's just been offered first pick of a litter…

I wouldn’t get a puppy personally hun you’ve got enough going on with looking after a baby xx

@courtniek98x this is what I thought. He seems to think it would be fine but I'm not convinced at all. I get he wants a dog early for baby n pup to grow up together but I don't think we'd have anywhere near enough time for one x

I had a puppy never again there a lot harder than baby's I'm not really a dog person though I suppose if u no what your doing it wouldn't be so bad xx @clarelushx

@chesscalouise2 thing is he's great with dogs, he's had a few. I haven't had one before so I'm clueless and a bit on the fence to how we'd cope especially since he'll be at work most of the time whilst I'm with a baby n a pup... I'm not sure about it x

It's hard I have just got one and it's like haven a new born getting up with thro the night it's shattering me and my lads 19 months x

If it's something your not sure about but he really wants one then I'd make it perfectly clear the dog is his responsibility. Feeding, walking, getting up at night etc Because you have to concentrate you baby. If he doesn't do it then the dog is gone. I personally couldn't deal with a puppy & children so it would be a no from me because I know I'd be the one doing everything! Lol

@srose1989 that pup is adorable. It would be tiring for sure. I'm tired as it is anyway lol. I think I'll have to go over the pros n cons x

@sara-lou86 that's a good idea. I think it would be fair too. It is him who wants it so he should look after it. I do love dogs and I wouldn't mind one myself but not whilst I've got a baby here. My attentions on my daughter not a puppy x
