Has anyone ever had the fetal fibronectin test done and came back positive?

That tests for risk of preterm birth doesn't it?

@momofboys3, yeah I just got a positive result for it and was wondering how accurate it is

@hah890 ive never actuallt had that test done but went into preterm labor twice. Why did they test you?

@momofboys3, I went to L&D because I was having back pains and that was one of the tests they did on me

@hah890 I'm not sure why theyve never given me that test. Where you dilated any?

@momofboys3, yeah that is weird that they didn't give u that test. Nope I wasnt dilated at all so that's a good sign.

@hah890 that must be why then I've already been dilated when I went to L&D for preterm labor. And yeah thats great you arent dilated at all yet they will probably just keep a close eye on you and baby
