Has anyone’s newborn tested positive on the Coomb’s test? We have been under lights and on bili-blanket to bring down bilirubin for 2 days now. Just looking for some insight on how it went and how long it took for numbers to go down.

@db413, oh my! I’m hoping we can get this under control soon.. we are all tired of the hospital and ready to go home!
@emily526, thank you! We are on the second extra night...I’m hoping her numbers are low enough to go home tomorrow and we can follow up with pediatrician on Monday and go from there...
My daughter did. She was kept at the hospital for 2 extra nights under the lights and then was ok'd to come home. They asked for her to come back after 1 day to be tested again and she had to go back under the lights for another 2 nights. But after that she was totally fine.
UPDATE: she was released from hospital yesterday afternoon and we had her follow up appt today with pediatrician and her levels are down so we are good to go!
