I'm afraid my baby girl might be getting too chubby... I love her rolls, but should I worry?

My sons 16 lbs at 3 months he doesn’t look that chubby because he’s so tall some babies carry the weight different
Mine has rolls like this too lol! My pediatrician says "We love chunky babies, chunky babies are well fed babies" lol!
Awwww! She's adorable!! My stepmom calls those the rubber band rolls, because it look like they have rubber bands on 😂

@lorismom omg he was!!! I have four nephews. They're pretty much grown now. My oldest nephew is 22 my second oldest nephew would have been 19 this past July 31st, the little Michelin Man baby / nephew is 16 and the youngest is 15. My nephew that looked like the Michelin man's baby I always used to just tell him he was my little buddy. But once the kids got old enough I let him know he was my favorite!!!

@lorismom my youngest is such a little chunk too (25lbs at her 9 month) her pedi isn't concerned either as she still breastfeeds.
Unless her pedi is worried, don't sweat it 💜
No stress mama! My babes is 6m and 26lbs 😂 love them rolls, once the start moving more they're gone!

@lorismom, my youngest was 17.4 at 4 months 😂🤦♀️ I’m sure once they get crawling and walking they will thin out my oldest was chunky not as chunky but he thinned our a lot once he started walking

Most babies are chunky when they are not mobile yet. Most also get chunky right before a growth spurt.
My little sister would get chunky just before she got a little taller when she was a baby
And my husband and his oldest were even bigger than him if her doctor isn’t worried I wouldn’t be to worried

If her pediatrician isn't concerned then you shouldn't be either! Some babies are just super chunky till they start crawling and moving around. She's adorable.
OMG if that is not one of the cutest freaking things I've seen all day!!! She is adorable. I wouldn't be worried. One of my sister's kids was 24 lb at 4 months old. He had them cute little rolls too. I used to call him the Michelin man's baby! He grew into his fat eventually.

@lorismom it's ok, he was an amazing child even though he couldn't walk or talk. I'm just glad I was in his life. He taught me a lot. There has only been 50 cases in history for what he had. It came from his father's side and my sister has 2 other boys with him but they are ok but they could have children or grandchildren with the same disorder.
