I’m having a really embarrassing problem, and I want 2 share it with all of you mamas, so a couple months ago I start to feeling a really bad and stronger smell coming out of my vagina, but I trough it was an infection so I just put some vaginal cream... the smell was still there, but it didn’t actually really matter 2 me because I had incontinence so I go to the restroom very often, so to me I smell like pee anyways. But now days the smell it’s really bad and strong even my husband can feeling it when I’m close to him, or I feeling myself when I have my legs open, THATS HOW BAD IT IS! I went 2 the doctor and he told me I was ok but I believe I’m not, please do you have any suggestions? Or have you ever have this problems? This is killing my married life, my sex life and everything 😔

What cream did you use? If you've just used thrush cream that won't clear the infection. Have you tested yourself for BV?

Yea it sounds like bv and the dr would have to give you a script no otc will work

@nathalysuarez16 bacteria vaginosis.. Nothing serious i had it right at my 6 wk post visit after my first kid. And always want your dr to run tests std bv etc our areas are so sensative so be cautious

@sandryane0317, oh really? What síntoms did you have? Because I don’t feel itchiness all the time just sometimes but very rare just the really bad smell all the time

Yes bacterial vaginosis. I've never had it personally but have a friend that has.. It usually doesn't have any itching just an unpleasant smell. You can go to your gp and get treatment or buy over the counter as vagisil won't clear the infection

I'm in the UK though we can get over the counter medication for it here it may be different in the US

do you wash your vagina with regular soap?
i would suggest, if you did go to the dr and they said you have no infections etc.
maybe you threw off your ph balance and would highly recommend this.

@nessaa, i don’t use tamponts 😔 i take the depo shot so I don’t have period

@ashleyrod, that’s the soap I use everyday since I’m allergic to the normal one
