I honestly didn’t want kids from the beginning you know I’m not gonna sit here and lie you know I’m a very honest person I am not the mothering type I love my daughter and I am great mom to her but I can’t have anymore,I don’t want anymore

I don’t want anymore I’m not going to change my mind trust me I know myself better then anybody ,I’m okay with just my daughter

What it comes down to is that the Dr doesn’t want to be responsible for you having the tubal done in case you change your mind later on. They are just covering their own ass. Contact different doctors, and maybe you’ll find one that will do it.

If you are 100% certain.. My ob wouldnt tie my tubes either so I went to my regular family doc and got a referral at a different office and had a consultation a week later. They made me wait in my state 4-6 weeks incase of a mind change and I'll have the procedure in another 2 weeks. My body isnt good with birth control and I'm 100% done having kids. Its worth a shot to ask your family doc for a referral

What about a copper IUD? Its non hormonal and lasts for 10 years.

@lovelily, well I know that but I feel very particular about things being in my body I have the one that was in my arm and it was giving me major problems and then when I went to go take it out and got in lodged in my arms so just from that I got scarred I really just don’t want anything else in my body and I really don’t want anymore kids so I’m going to try but if not I’m not with anybody right now so I don’t think I want to be with anybody anytime soon so it’s not like I’m going to get pregnant and time soon
