I think people have become accustomed to a certain look in regards to children coming from interracial relationships. I'm constantly hearing how beautiful my child is going to look and don't get me wrong that's fine but, they assume she'll have curly hair and nice light skin and all these other highlights that they see children on Instagram and Pinterest with. They've already molded my child into what they deem necessary to make her 'pretty' before she's left the womb. Not even realizing she may not have any of the things they think will make her conventionally pretty.

It all just seems so ridiculous to me. How about focusing on me delivering a healthy and happy baby... 🙄
